Craft Pantry Designs creates practical planners, workbooks and business tools for people who make and sell things.
If you're wondering which book you need, what the different formats mean, whether they'll work for your kind of handmade business, or what happens after you order, you're probably in the right place.
What is Craft Pantry Designs?
Craft Pantry Designs is a collection of practical business tools created specifically for makers and handmade business owners.
The books cover the bits that happen around the making - things like pricing, planning ahead, creating content, deciding whether markets are worth doing, preparing for busy selling seasons and keeping track of all the ideas and lessons that would otherwise live in your head.
You do the making. We'll help with the business behind it.
Who are the books for?
They're for people who make and sell things.
That might mean ceramics, jewellery, crochet, candles, artwork, stationery, floristry, resin work, textiles, personalised gifts, homeware or something wonderfully specific that doesn't fit neatly into a category.
You don't need to be a full-time business owner, either.
If you're turning something you make into something people buy - whether you're just getting started or you've been doing it for years - Craft Pantry Designs was made with you in mind.

What is The Maker's Business Library?
The Maker's Business Library is the complete collection of six Craft Pantry Designs books:

What's the difference between the printable and interactive digital editions?
Printable PDF
The printable edition is designed to be downloaded and printed, so you can write in it by hand.
Print the whole thing, print only the pages you need, or come back and print fresh working pages when you need them.
Interactive Digital PDF
The interactive digital edition is a tablet-friendly PDF with tappable navigation, designed for writing and annotating in a compatible PDF app.
Typing is also available where your chosen PDF app supports it.
You'll need your own compatible device, PDF annotation app and stylus if you want to write by hand digitally. These aren't included with your purchase.
Is the interactive edition a separate app?
No.
It's a PDF designed for use in a compatible PDF annotation app. You don't need a Craft Pantry subscription or special Craft Pantry software.
Can I type into the interactive PDFs?
Typing is available where your chosen PDF app supports it.
The books are designed primarily for writing and annotating in a compatible PDF app, so functionality can vary depending on the device and software you use.
Will the books work on my iPad or tablet?
The interactive editions are designed for use on tablets with compatible PDF annotation software.
Exactly how features behave can vary between devices and apps, so please check that your preferred app supports PDF annotation before purchasing.
Do the workbooks calculate things automatically?
No.
Where a Craft Pantry workbook asks you to work something out, the intention is for you to see and understand the numbers you're working with, rather than having a hidden calculator produce an answer for you.
Are these books only for UK businesses?
No.
Craft Pantry Designs is made for makers around the world.
The majority of the library is designed to be internationally useful without relying on one country's tax rules, postal services or business regulations.
The Maker's Year 2027 is different, because important dates and selling occasions vary around the world. That's why regional editions are available.

Which edition of The Maker's Year should I choose?
Choose the edition for the region where you primarily run and market your handmade business.

Are these books business or financial advice?
No.
Craft Pantry Designs provides practical planning, reflection and organisational tools for makers. The books aren't a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal or financial advice.
Rules differ between countries and businesses, so always seek appropriate professional guidance where you need it.
Do I need to be good at business to use them?
Absolutely not.
They're not business-school textbooks.
They were made for people who know how to make something and have subsequently discovered that selling it apparently also requires them to become the pricing department, marketing department, content team, customer service department, administrator and Christmas logistics coordinator.
Are the books suitable for beginners?
Yes - but they're not only for beginners.
Someone starting a handmade business may use them to think about things earlier. Someone who's been selling for years may recognise problems they've been putting up with for far too long.
The point isn't how long you've been in business.
It's whether the particular problem the book addresses is a problem for you.
Will these books tell me exactly how to run my business?
No - deliberately.
Your products, customers, capacity, costs and business are yours.
Craft Pantry Designs gives you structure, questions, tools and somewhere to work through decisions rather than pretending there's one magic formula every maker should follow.
What happens after I buy a digital product?
Your digital files will be delivered electronically after purchase.
You won't receive anything through the post when purchasing a printable or interactive digital edition.
Please download and save your files somewhere safe once you receive them.
Can I return a digital download?
Because digital products are supplied electronically, different cancellation and refund rules may apply compared with physical products.

If something is wrong with the file you've received or you're having trouble accessing your purchase, contact us and we'll help.
Can I share the PDFs with someone else?
Your purchase is for your own use.
Please don't redistribute, resell, upload, reproduce or share Craft Pantry Designs files with other people.
If a friend would love one too, please send them our way. ♡
Can I use these with my team?
A standard purchase is intended for individual use.
If you'd like multiple people in a business or organisation to use Craft Pantry Designs materials, contact us about the appropriate option.
Are physical books available?
Yes. Physical editions are made to order.
Each physical book is produced especially for you, so please allow additional time for production before dispatch.
Unlike our digital editions, physical books aren't taken from pre-printed stock. Your copy is produced after you place your order, which helps us avoid unnecessary stock and waste.
Please allow [7-10 working days] for production before dispatch, plus the estimated [7-14 working days] delivery time for your destination.
During particularly busy periods, production may take a little longer. We'll always recommend ordering ahead if you need your book by a particular date.
You'll receive an email when your order is on its way.
I bought something but haven't received it. What should I do?
First, check the email address used at checkout and have a look in your spam or junk folder.
If your order confirmation has arrived but your files haven't, or you're having trouble accessing them, contact us with your order details and we'll take a look.
Who created Craft Pantry Designs?
Craft Pantry Designs was created by Grace Connolly, maker and founder of Sheer Blooms.
It grew out of the reality of running a creative business: making the product was only one part of the job. Around it came pricing, planning, content, markets, busy seasons, customer orders, admin - and approximately 400 things to remember at once.
Craft Pantry Designs exists to make that part a little easier.
